The engine bay is extremely tidy, right down to the windshield washer fluid bag, and the battery appears fresh. The trunk is lined, has a full-size spare tire with a cover and the cargo area is in excellent order. The cars bumpers and bodywork are in excellent condition, including the matching white power-folding top. This Falcon rolls on Cooper whitewall tires, size P185/80R13, at all four corners, surrounding wire wheels. The cars glass panels clear and intact while the lights are clear and haze-free. Dressed in factory correct Corinthian White (code M), the cars exterior paint and trim are in overall very good condition, though there are a few imperfections visible upon close inspection. In simplest terms, the 1963 Falcon Sprint was nearly mechanically identical to the 1964 Mustang while being aesthetically different. Many (if not most) of the interior, chassis, suspension and drivetrain components were derived from those used on the 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint and/or Fairlane models. These first-generation Falcon Sprint cars formed the basis for the Mustangs released by Ford a year later.
